Volleyball Recap: Heartland Christian Triumphs

Heartland Christian won the last time they faced Toronto and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Red Knights.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Heartland Christian got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 18-25, 25-12, 24-26, 15-10.

Heartland Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Toronto, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Coming up, Heartland Christian will host David Anderson at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Toronto, they will head out to challenge Conotton Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
