A well-balanced attack led Hilton Head Christian Academy over Bethesda Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. The Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles were the clear victor by a 34-14 margin over the Bethesda Academy Blazers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Reid Mccollum was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 321 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns. John Houpt did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 138 receiving yards.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Hilton Head Christian Academy was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 426 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bethesda Academy only gained 258.

Hilton Head Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bethesda Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing John Paul II the next time they take the field. Bethesda Academy will host John Paul II at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Hilton Head Christian Academy will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on September 13th.
