Football Game Preview: Liberty vs. Francis Scott Key

After two weeks on the road, Liberty is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Francis Scott Key at 7:00 PM. Liberty is currently enjoying a eight-game winning streak and is looking to extend their dominance.

Liberty put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Thursday. They were fully in charge, breezing past Manchester Valley 42-0. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 40 points the game before, Francis Scott Key faltered in their matchup last Thursday. They suffered a grim 7-33 defeat to South Carroll. The state rankings had actually given Francis Scott Key a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Liberty's win lifted them to 8-0 while Francis Scott Key's defeat dropped them down to 3-5. We'll see if Liberty can repeat their recent success or if Francis Scott Key bounce back and reverse their fortune.
