Jackson came out on top against Lake on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Polar Bears put the hurt on the Blue Streaks with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Polar Bears, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Jackson and bumps their season record up to 10-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Lake, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5.

Looking ahead, Jackson is taking a road trip to challenge Wooster at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-3 win against McKinley on the 7th.
