Soccer Recap: Crown Point's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Two

It's playoff time, and Crown Point had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lowell Red Devils a 4-0 shutout on Monday. It was an even better day for Liam Bazin as he scored three goals for his team.

The win made it two in a row for Crown Point and bumps their season record up to 9-5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Lowell, with the defeat, they broke their 14-match winning streak and moved their record to 14-2.

Crown Point didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Portage on the 8th. Lowell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
