Sam Houston extended their winning streak to seven on Tuesday, bumping them up to 12-3. Everything went their way against the Catholic - N.I. Panthers as they made off with a 12-2 win. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by eight runs or more this season.

As for Catholic - N.I., this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this matchup were averaging 3.71 runs allowed.
