Baseball Recap: Big Bear Comes Up Short

Big Bear came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Riverside Prep Silver Knights, falling 22-3. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Silver Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Big Bear saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Wortham, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Brennen Berge also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Big Bear's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Riverside Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

While Big Bear had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
