Softball Recap: St. Rose Takes a Loss

St. Rose and Immaculata squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but St. Rose had to settle for second. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 11-3. The Purple Roses just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

St. Rose's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Immaculata, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Immaculata beat St. Rose by a score of 11-3 later that day.
