Basketball Recap: Grant Comes Up Short

Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 48-28 to the Montgomery Tigers. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 48-24 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Montgomery, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grant will square off against Georgetown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montgomery, they will face off against Caldwell Parish at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
