Baseball Game Preview: St. Patrick Shamrocks vs. Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Braves

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, St. Patrick turned things around against Madisonville-North Hopkins on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Maroons with a sharp 18-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Shamrocks' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Houston, falling 10-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Braves have suffered since May 8, 2024.

Andrew O'Brien made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

St. Patrick picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
