There's no place like home for Pendleton County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs on Thursday. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win last Tuesday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Pendleton County was: they took every set by at least 18 points. The final score came out to 25-3, 25-7, 25-7.

Pendleton County found their leader in sophomore Chesnee Colaw, who had eight aces and two assists.

Pendleton County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last seven matchups.

Pendleton County's record now sits at 18-10. As for Tygarts Valley, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-20.
