Volleyball Recap: Lindbergh's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Lindbergh faced Lutheran South in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Flyers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lancers. Winning may never get old, but the Flyers sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Leading Lindbergh to victory were Alex Ahrens and Tyler White. Ahrens had 27 assists and 11 digs, while White had 15 digs. That's the most digs White has posted since back in April.

Loss or not, Lutheran South got some senior leadership from Malachi Seying and Nathan Green. Seying had 26 digs and four assists, while Green had 19 digs. Seying has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last nine times he's played.

Lindbergh's victory bumped their record up to 28-2. As for Lutheran South, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 21-8-2.

As of now, neither Lindbergh nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
