Football Recap: Karnes City Badgers vs. Yorktown Wildcats
Karnes City had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 56-48 win over the Yorktown Wildcats on Friday. The Badgers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Karnes City was led to victory by Savion Nixon-Thompson and Israel Soto. Nixon-Thompson rushed for 317 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.8 yards per carry, while Soto gained 261 total yards and four touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Soto a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (three).
