After flying high against Meridian on Tuesday, Round Rock Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Crusaders lost 3-0 to the St. Michael's Warriors on Thursday. The Crusaders' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-11.

Sophia Dall'oglio paced Round Rock Christian Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Dall'oglio got some help from Lauren Woodard and her six assists. Dall'oglio was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Frida Hernandez had a dynamite game For St. Michael's., getting 21 digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Hernandez a new career-high.

Round Rock Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 27-12. As for St. Michael's, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-10-1.

Looking ahead, Round Rock Christian Academy will head out to face off against Brazos Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Michael's, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Pflugerville on the 3rd.
