It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Albertus Magnus had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Byram Hills Bobcats by a score of 7-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won six games in a row.

The team relied heavily on Tyler Wein, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Albertus Magnus' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Byram Hills, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
