Baseball Recap: Leavitt Takes a Loss

Leavitt was the 10-0 winner over Medomak Valley when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets fell 4-1 to the Panthers on Monday.

Leavitt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Randan Hutchinson, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Leavitt now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Medomak Valley, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Leavitt will square off against rival Morse at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Medomak Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Gardiner at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
