Softball Recap: Berea Comes Up Short

After flying high against Eastside last Friday, Berea came back down to earth. Berea came up short against the Daniel Lions on Tuesday, falling 12-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since April 12, 2024.

Berea dropped their record down to 3-4-1 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Daniel, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Berea will challenge Carolina Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carolina Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.83 runs per game on average), something Berea will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Daniel, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Daniel Lions face off against Crescent Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
