Stone Memorial put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Meigs County Tigers by a score of 7-4. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 12-1 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2022.

Stone Memorial let Breanna Looper and Ashely Whittenburg run wild. Looper went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, while Whittenburg scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Whittenburg has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Stone Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Stone Memorial didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-0 win against Midway on the 14th. As for Meigs County, they will face off against Chattanooga Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Chattanooga Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
