Softball Recap: Bellingham Takes a Loss

Bellingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-0 to the Mt. Baker Mountaineers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Bayhawks were looking for revenge after losing 22-0 to the Mountaineers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bellingham's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Mt. Baker, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Coming up, Bellingham will face off against Burlington-Edison at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. Baker, they will take on Darrington at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
