Basketball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Lincoln couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Loss or not, Lincoln got some senior leadership from Donez Lindsey and Anthony Moore. Lindsey shot 55% from the field en route to 18 points and four steals, while Moore posted 18 points and six boards. Moore's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah 'Zeke' Davis, who scored five points.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 31-5. As for Sierra Canyon, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 27-7.

As of now, neither Lincoln nor Sierra Canyon have any future games scheduled.
