Football Game Preview: Crawford County Eagles vs. Atkinson County Rebels + Official Tickets

The Crawford County Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Atkinson County Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Crawford County was the clear victor by a 41-20 margin over Marion County. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Crawford County.

It was another big night for Charles Anderson, who rushed for 105 yards and a pair of scores, and also picked up 59 receiving yards and one TD. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 59 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Crawford County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 321 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 189 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Atkinson County got the win against Southwest Georgia Academy on Friday by a conclusive 50-30. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won four contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Crawford County now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Atkinson County, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
