Franklin Pierce played in conference for the first time on Thursday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They came out on top against Foss by a score of 45-34. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mount Vernon Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They claimed a resounding 52-21 win over Coupeville. Given the Hurricanes' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Wolves are ranked 149th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mount Vernon Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Franklin Pierce, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.
