Omro took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Wautoma Hornets by a score of 9-4. This was payback for the Foxes, who suffered a 10-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Bryce Loker was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Loker was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-5.
In other batting news, Connor Grams was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Parker K, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
