Softball Game Preview: Castle Rock Rockets vs. R.A. Long Lumberjacks

The Castle Rock Rockets will venture away from home to face off against the R.A. Long Lumberjacks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Castle Rock comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Castle Rock's offense. They lost 7-0 to Napavine on Tuesday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Rockets were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, R.A. Long scored first but ultimately less than Rainier in their game on Wednesday. They came up short against the Columbians, falling 15-6. The loss leaves the Lumberjacks still looking for their first win of the season.

R.A. Long's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Castle Rock, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Castle Rock couldn't quite get it done against R.A. Long in their previous matchup back in May of 2019 as they fell 7-4. Can the Rockets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
