Somerset is 9-1 against Bishop Carroll since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Huskies at 4:30 p.m. Somerset is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.

Somerset is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs last Wednesday, they were much more limited against Forest Hills on Monday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Somerset saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kahne Foltz, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Bishop Carroll and Forest Hills, and Forest Hills kept the tradition alive. The Huskies came up short against the Rangers on Tuesday, falling 18-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Somerset fell to 9-1. As for Bishop Carroll, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Somerset came out on top in a nail-biter against Bishop Carroll when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
