Volleyball Recap: Concordia Comes Up Short

Concordia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Memorial Christian Academy Warriors. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in September of 2019.

While Concordia ultimately came up short, they really made Memorial Christian Academy work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-21.

Concordia's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Memorial Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 1-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Concordia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Regents on the 22nd. As for Memorial Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vanguard College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
