Softball Recap: St. Louis Catholic Saints vs. South Beauregard Knights
St. Louis Catholic took a 17-run loss the last time they faced off against South Beauregard, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The St. Louis Catholic Saints had just enough and edged out the South Beauregard Knights 6-5. This was payback for the Saints, who suffered a 21-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Mattie Fullington spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on three hits and racked up 14 Ks.
