Volleyball Recap: Western Reserve Takes a Loss

If Western Reserve was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of McKinley on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Devils lost 3-0 to the Mineral Ridge Rams on Tuesday. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-19, 25-11.

Chloeigh Endsley paced Western Reserve's offense, picking up five kills. Endsley got some help from Ava Baker and her seven assists. Eva Kale and Quincy Miller kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Western Reserve now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Mineral Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 16-5.

Western Reserve has already played their next matchup (against Springfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mineral Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Jackson-Milton on the 8th.
