Soccer Recap: Red Mountain Comes Up Short

Red Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Liberty Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Red Mountain of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Red Mountain now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Liberty, their record now sits at 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Mountain will face off against Queen Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty, they will square off against Tolleson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty's defense better be ready for this one: Tolleson have averaged an impressive 5 goals per game this season.
