Baseball Recap: Gilman City Find Success

After losing to Albany the last time they met, Gilman City decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hawks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warriors on Tuesday, sneaking past 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

The victory got Gilman City back to even at 3-3. As for Albany, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Gilman City will be playing in front of their home fans against Plattsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Albany, they will face off against North Andrew at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
