Gilead Christian takes loss despite strong efforts from Diesel Myers and Denim Myers

The Gilead Christian Eagles suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Shekinah Christian, falling 68-31. It was the first time this season that Gilead Christian let down their fans at home.
Gilead Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Denim Myers, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks, and Diesel Myers who scored eight points along with two steals. Myers hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for nine straight games.
Gilead Christian's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. As for Shekinah Christian, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilead Christian will take on Faith Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Faith Christian Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Shekinah Christian, they will be playing at home against Oakstone Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
