Recap: Sheridan Blackhawks vs. Hagerstown Tigers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carroll, The Sheridan Blackhawks were happy to have found some success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 41-0 victory over Hagerstown at home. The result was nothing new for Sheridan, who have now won six matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.
Sheridan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zach Bales, who rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Bales was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 66 yards. Another player making a difference was Eli Kolb, who rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
Sheridan's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Hagerstown, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
Sheridan will play host again and welcome Tindley, where Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hagerstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
