Fort Dorchester lost to James Island back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Fort Dorchester Patriots managed a 45-40 victory over the James Island Trojans.

Fort Dorchester's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kai Mack led the charge by dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Clarke, who posted nine points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alexa Lehr, who earned four points and eight boards. Madisyn Smith was another key player, putting up seven points and five steals.

Fort Dorchester's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for James Island, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

Fort Dorchester didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 75-19 victory against Stall on the 11th. As for James Island, they have also already played their next game, a 54-42 loss against Ashley Ridge on the 11th.
