Soccer Game Preview: A Plus Academy vs. Pinkston

The A Plus Academy Knights will face off against the Pinkston Vikings at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. A Plus Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Pinkston will be coming in after a loss.

A Plus Academy is headed into the game having not lost since February 1 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Lincoln get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Saturday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Tigers are ranked 732nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Pinkston didn't have quite enough to beat North Dallas on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

A Plus Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those seven contests. Pinkston's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-1.
