Softball Recap: North Moore Wins Going Away Against Chatham Charter

It's playoff time, and North Moore had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Chatham Charter Knights on Tuesday. Considering the Mustangs have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Calissa Clendenin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Rylee Welch, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

North Moore was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .522. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

North Moore moved to 15-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Chatham Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

North Moore didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-3 loss against Bear Grass Charter on the 8th. Chatham Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
