Softball Recap: Tabb Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Kent, Tabb was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Grafton Clippers by a score of 5-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Mika Hilburger was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Hilburger was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Milenah Camacho, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

The victory got Tabb back to even at 2-2. As for Grafton, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Tabb Tigers duke it out with Bruton Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grafton, they will take on Southampton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
