Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Great Oak

Great Oak won against Murrieta Mesa on Thursday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Wolfpack came out on top against the Rams by a score of 7-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Wolfpack, who have now won three games in a row.

Sam Pink was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Apodaca, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Great Oak kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Murrieta Mesa only managed six.

Great Oak's record is now 14-9-1. As for Murrieta Mesa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.
