Basketball Game Preview: Cedarcrest Red Wolves vs. Interlake Saints

Cedarcrest is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Interlake is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Cedarcrest Red Wolves will host the Interlake Saints at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Cedarcrest didn't have too much trouble with Lindbergh as they won 54-40.

Meanwhile, Interlake was fully in charge on Wednesday, breezing past Vashon Island 60-24. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Cedarcrest better keep an eye on Harper Moore. She was instrumental in Interlake's win, going 10 for 19 en route to 24 points and four steals. Moore's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Price, who posted 12 points and four blocks.

Interlake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Cedarcrest, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Cedarcrest ended up a good deal behind Interlake in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, losing 48-33. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Interlake's Tiffany Shaw, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. Now that Cedarcrest knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
