Perry Meridian and Greenfield-Central are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Perry Meridian Falcons will welcome the Greenfield-Central Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Perry Meridian duked it out with Decatur Central on Friday. Perry Meridian was outmatched by Decatur Central and fell 72-45. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greenfield-Central). They blew past Martinsville, posting a 102-62 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Greenfield-Central is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.2 points. Perry Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.

Perry Meridian was taken down by Greenfield-Central 68-23 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Greenfield-Central's Braylon Mullins, who went 10-for-12 to rack up 24 points along with seven steals and five boards. Now that Perry Meridian knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
