Doherty Memorial has gone a perfect 3-0 against Bay Path RVT recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Highlanders will square off against the Minutemen at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Doherty Memorial lost 13-1 to Advanced Math & Science Academy on Thursday. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Bay Path RVT came up short against Montachusett RVT on Monday, falling 22-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Minutemen have suffered against the Bulldogs since April 25, 2022.

Savannah Steiner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

Doherty Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Bay Path RVT, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Doherty Memorial hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Bay Path RVT struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Doherty Memorial skirted past Bay Path RVT 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Highlanders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
