Basketball Game Preview: Skipstone Academy Warriors vs. Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS

The Skipstone Academy Warriors will head out to face off against the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Skipstone Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season.

Last Monday, Skipstone Academy came up short against Flint River Academy and fell 56-44. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Skipstone Academy might have lost, but man, Scooter Barkley was a machine: he posted 28 points. The game was Barkley's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Cloud, who earned 13 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 63-54 victory over Konos Academy on Tuesday.

Skipstone Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Skipstone Academy was dealt a bruising 79-36 loss at the hands of Trinity Christian School of Griffin in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Skipstone Academy was down 44-22.
