Football Game Recap: Central vs. Monroe County

Monroe County have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They got past Central with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 12-6. That's another feather in the cap for Monroe County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

The victory bumped Monroe County's record up to 2-3. Central are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.

Next week Monroe County take on W.S. Neal at 7:00 PM. Monroe County will be strutting in after a win while W.S. Neal will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for Central, they will face off against Samson. These teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for Central and three for Samson.
