Soccer Game Preview: Palm Harbor University vs. Osceola

Palm Harbor University and Osceola are an even 3-3-2 against one another since December of 2014, but likely not for long. The Palm Harbor University Hurricanes will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against the Osceola Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Palm Harbor University sitting on 14 straight victories and Osceola on three.

Palm Harbor University's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over St. Petersburg. Considering the Hurricanes have won ten games by more than three goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Osceola gave up the first goal on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against East Lake by a score of 3-1. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Eagles are ranked 139th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tomas Vilkialis and Aron Martinaj scored all three of Osceola's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 27 goals.

Osceola is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those nine matchups. As for Palm Harbor University, they pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
