Basketball Recap: East Forsyth Takes a Loss

After flying high against Glenn last Friday, East Forsyth came back down to earth. The East Forsyth Eagles came up short against the West Forsyth Titans on Tuesday, falling 68-44. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

East Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for West Forsyth, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Forsyth won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southwest Guilford at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Southwest Guilford knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 19 games -- so hopefully East Forsyth likes a good challenge. As for West Forsyth, they will venture away from home to square off against Mount Tabor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
