Clearfield hasn't had much luck against Bountiful recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Clearfield Falcons will challenge the Bountiful RedHawks at 5:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bountiful is hoping to do what Roy couldn't on Friday: put an end to Clearfield's winning streak, which now stands at four games. Clearfield blew past Roy 56-32. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Falcons just coasted through the last quarter.

Clearfield got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isabelle Wyaskett out in front who posted nine points along with five assists and five boards. Wyaskett is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last five games she's played. Xiyah Yarbrough was another key player, going 5 of 8 on her way to 13 points.
Clearfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bountiful). They breezed by Bonneville to the tune of 89-27 on Friday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 56-8.
Bountiful's win came from a few key players Clearfield will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Taylor Harvey, who went 9 of 12 on her way to 22 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Milika Satuala, who went 7 of 10 on her way to 14 points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Bountiful pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.3 points. As for Clearfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Clearfield has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 30.2 boards per game. However, it's not like Bountiful struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Clearfield came up short against Bountiful when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 50-46. Can Clearfield avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
