Soccer Game Preview: Randolph-Macon Academy vs. Highland

Randolph-Macon Academy is 0-5 against Highland since April of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets will challenge the Hawks at 2:30 p.m.

While Randolph-Macon Academy's victory against Wakefield Country Day wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Yellow Jackets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Owls on Wednesday. Randolph-Macon Academy haven't had any issues with Wakefield Country Day recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Highland was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Trinity at Meadow View could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-8-2. With that draw, Highland's record moves to 9-4-1.

Randolph-Macon Academy suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Highland when the teams last played last Monday. Can the Yellow Jackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
