Basketball Recap: PikeView Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when PikeView faced off against Princeton on Tuesday. The PikeView Panthers took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Princeton Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Kalee Wright, who posted 17 points. What's more, she also posted three assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Carley Hurt, who scored ten points.

PikeView's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Princeton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

PikeView wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-50 defeat against Summers County on the 7th. As for Princeton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-35 win against Woodrow Wilson on the 6th.
