Northview posted their closest win since December 1, 2025 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Anthony Wayne Generals 54-52. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Generals: they've now won three in a row.

Anthony Trombley and Cole Gast certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Trombley shot 50% from the field en route to 16 points and five assists, while Gast went 5-for-8 on his way to 14 points and six boards. Trombley's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Drew Madalinski, who posted six points.

Northview's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Anthony Wayne, they moved to 13-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
