Mount View is a perfect 10-0 against Montcalm since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Mount View Golden Knights will face off against the Montcalm Generals at 7:15 p.m. Mount View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.1 points per game this season.

Two weeks ago, Mount View lost to Wyoming East at home by a 62-44 margin. While losing is never fun, the Golden Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Warriors are ranked 26th).

Despite their defeat, Mount View saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. ZyMir Martin, who posted 14 points, was perhaps the best of all. The dominant performance also gave Martin a new career-high in blocks (two). Ky'Rece Hughes was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, Montcalm hadn't done well against Man recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Montcalm walked away with a 55-47 win over Man.

Mount View's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Montcalm, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.

Mount View beat Montcalm 48-38 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mount View since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
