Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in March.

Hamilton took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 26-24.

San Jacinto Valley Academy was led to victory by Adam Livingston and Jaylan Vergara. Livingston had four aces and two blocks, while Vergara had ten digs. The dominant performance also gave Livingston a new career-high in assists (15).

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Hamilton will venture away from home to face off against Temecula Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Nuview Bridge at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
